WARWICK —The following is a listing of upcoming events at the Warwick Valley Community Center, located at 11 Hamilton Ave. in the Village of Warwick.

Saturday, Nov. 10, 6 to 8 p.m.Free community dinner: The menu will be ham, Mac and cheese, salad, desserts and more.

These dinners are held the second Saturday each month.

There is no charge, although please help by making a monetary donation to the Warwick Valley Community Center or Food Pantry.

Sponsored by The Warwick Valley Coalition, The Warwick Valley Community Center, The Town of Warwick, The Village of Warwick, ShopRite and The Food Bank of the Hudson Valley.

Saturday, Nov. 10. Doc Fry Sessions with local musicians. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 16, 4 to 5 p.m.The Rock Underground at the Warwick Valley Community Center

The Rock Underground Music School in its inaugural school year program at the community center. Every Friday beginning Nov. 16 for 12 weeks.

Spend an hour in a group class learning fundamentals of electric guitar with Matthew Politoski, a Berklee College of Music alumni and one of our acclaimed guitar instructors and film composer.

Expect to learn the basics of guitar technique, rhythm, improvisation and music theory, applying this to song in the second half.

Don’t have a guitar? No problem. The first six students will be given a custom spray-painted rental electric guitar to take home to practice with for the duration of the program. Amplifiers will also be provided on site.

Program tuition is $240. There is a limit of 10 students for the course.
