WARWICK — Geoff Green, broker/principal of the Green Team Home Selling System, with offices at 7 Main St. in Warwick and 200 Route 94 in Vernon, New Jersey, recently presented $3,650, proceeds of the real estate firm's second annual "Light up the Holidays" fund-raising contest, to Warwick Playground Dreams.

The non-profit organization is a committee of volunteers in the Town of Warwick who are raising funds to rejuvenate the aging playground in Stanley-Deming Park.

Working together with the Village of Warwick, the schools and playground design architects, Play By Design, the committee would like to bring a community-designed and community-built ADA-accessible playground to Warwick that will exercise the imaginations of all of Warwick's children as well as their muscles.

Its mission is to raise the funds for the materials and equipment needed to build the new playground under the supervision of Play By Design's Certified Playground Safety Inspectors.

During the recent holiday season Green Team agents hit the streets, the phones and their email, contacting local professionals and businesses and asking them to become part of this community effort.

Becoming either a Gold, Silver or Bronze Sponsor, donations were made out directly to the charity, in amounts corresponding to the level of sponsorship.

The winner of the firm's second annual "Light up the Holidays" contest was Yesterday's Restaurant in the Village of Warwick.

The Green Team Home Selling System is a member of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce and has a history of helping support the community and local charitable organizations.
