WARWICK — The Warwick Valley Chorale will begin rehearsals for its 2018 Spring season in preparation for three performances in May.

The concerts, directed by Stanley Curtis and accompanied by Gail Johnson, will present Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem in D minor, Op. 48.

A special tribute to the music of renowned English composer and conductor John Rutter also will be featured.

In addition to the local May concerts, the group will be joining other choruses to perform the Fauré Requiem again at Carnegie Hall in April, under the baton of David Gresham.

Rehearsals will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 16, at the Warwick Reformed Church at 16 Maple Ave., Warwick.

Registration starts at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 16 and Jan. 23. Rehearsals will follow from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

The chorale cordially invites new members to join. Auditions are not required.
