WARWICK — On Monday, Aug. 21, local author Anita Page and Catherine Maiorisi, president of the New York Chapter of Sisters in Crime, a national organization of crime fiction writers, presented a $500 grant to Tom Roberts, co-owner of Ye Olde Warwick Book Shoppe in the Village of Warwick.

The award will be used for promoting and marketing.

Each month the national organization presents this grant to a bookstore that completes an entry form including a photo of a staff member or members holding books for sale that are written by Sisters in Crime members.

Ye Olde Warwick Book Shoppe had the winning entry this past June.
